The Periodic Pathway celebrates and imagines a creative segway between science and cinema. Inspired by this year’s fusion of Beakerhead and the Calgary International Film Festival, this installation connects the two worlds through an artistic interpretation of the periodic table of elements. Paths playfully branch outwards, creating a wayfinding device to explore references to the conception of film and the fundamentals of science. This project was created in collaboration with Kiran Rai and features a balloon installation from Calgary Party 50.

Decals were added to the doorway to make the installation more immersive.
